Taylor Swift Regains Top Spot This Week



Taylor Swift returned to the top spot as the best selling disc in the U.S. this week because "Red" sold 167,000 units, up 22 percent. Swift replaced Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire," which fell to seventh with 77,000 units sold.

Swift has held the number one spot with "Red" for four weeks. The first three weeks followed its Nov. 10 debut on the chart.

Blake Shelton's holiday disc, "Cheers, It's Christmas" was eighth with 68,000 units sold, up 29 percent. Florida Georgia Line rounded out the top 10 with its debut studio disc, "Here's to the Good Times," which sold 63,000 units.

The charts will be officially out on Thursday.
