Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum recently announced the exciting news that she and husband Chris Tyrell are expecting their first baby! She took to the band’s Facebook page to share her excitement saying,
“Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!”
According to The Boot due to the Hillary’s bundle of joy likely arriving around June, it appears some fans will miss out on seeing Lady A on the road next summer. Concerts the trio had already scheduled for summer 2013 have now been wiped off their calendar.
Event organizers at from various venues have posted notes on their website such as this,
“Lady Antebellum’s previously announced performance at NEBRASKAland DAYS in North Platte on June 21st, 2013 has been cancelled. Hillary Scott is expecting her first baby and will not be able to travel and perform through the summer.”
Other dates already cancelled include:
June 29th The Country Stampede in Manhattan, Kan.
August 4th Big Valley Jamboree in Alberta, Canada.
July 20th Cheyenne, Wy., Frontier Days
September 7th An appearance at the York Fair in Pennsylvania.
