Taylor Swift "Red" Available On Monday

Six-time Grammy winner, Taylor Swift has done it again. She’s managed to put together another collection of music that is sure to have her fans singing in the aisles once again.

Her latest effort, “Red” will be released on Monday and has already spawned the smash hit, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” which hit the top of the charts in September. The song became Billboard’s most downloaded first week digital single.

Swift confesses to Reuters that “Red” is “kind of diary entries” of the last two years of the singer’s life. So as hard as it is to fathom, the artist has written yet another album full of personal heartbreak that will keep fans guessing as to which one of her exes she’s complaining about.

The New York Daily News reports that Swift states, "It helps me to know that 90 percent of what those little blog posts and articles say isn't true at all," said Swift. "The one bit of privacy that I have is knowing that I know who inspired those songs and I don't tell anyone. For me, keeping my private life private and only sharing it with people through my music allows me to have that connection with my fans and not shut them out of anything. But it allows me to also have something that's just mine."

That sounds almost believable until she continued with, "I don't really read anything so I don't know what's being said, which kind of allows me to make music from a pure place of just making the music that I love."

Taylor Swift is going to be one busy girl in the coming days with the release of her new album, Red, on October 22. She will take the ‘follow’ aspect one step further by allowing a select group of her Twitter followers and Facebook friends to literally ‘follow’ her around New York during release week. In exchange, the lucky fans will post live updates to their social sites.

On October 22 Taylor will appear live on ABC’s Good Morning America. She’ll return to GMA on October 23 and will also be the lead guest and perform on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman. On October 24, she’ll pay a visit to ABC’s The View and on October 25, Taylor returns to The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

On October 26 Taylor will be a guest on Katie with Katie Couric and that same night at 8p|7c, fans can catch part two of Taylor’s interview with Nan Kelley on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown. One hour later at 9p|8c, Taylor, along with Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Pistol Annies, Reba and more, will appear on ABC’s All Access Nashville with Katie Couric – A Special Edition of 20/20.

In addition to her appearances on network television, it will also be “Taylor Swift Week” on Entertainment Tonight. Access Hollywood, E! News and Extra will air interviews with Taylor during release week as well.

Taylor’s busy schedule doesn’t stop there though. She’ll sit down for a live Q&A session with an audience at the SiriusXM studios in New York City on October 22 at 2p|1c for SiriusXM’s “Town Hall with Taylor Swift.” She’ll also visit Scholastic’s New York headquarters to take part in a special literacy event for the company’s “Read Every Day” campaign.

Once Taylor wraps her New York media events, she’ll return to Nashville for the “Taylor Swift Worldwide Radio Remote” presented by Papa John’s on October 26 with 72 stations broadcasting live from Music City, including stations from South Africa and New Zealand.
