Tim McGraw and Faith Hill came in at No. 3, with joint sales totaling almost 61 million albums. They narrowly missed the second slot, which belongs to Jay-Z and Beyoncé, who together sold 62 million units.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert also earned a spot on the list, coming in at No. 9, with sales totaling almost 10 million -- an impressive feat considering Miranda's debut album, Kerosene, only hit shelves in 2005.
Other couples on the list include Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Alicia Keys and Swiss Beatz and Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. See the complete list here.
Couples hoping to inch music's most powerful couple out of their top spot may have to wait awhile. The "Friends in Low Places" singer, who is currently performing at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, has stated he hopes to hit the road with new music again once his youngest daughter, 16-year-old Allie, is in college. Meanwhile, his songstress wife is already back in the studio working on another album.
