"We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him," the country star said, drawing cheers from the audience, according to the Des Moines Metromix.
Never one for subtlety -- or, you know, fact-checking -- Hank Jr. has been outspoken about his distaste for President Obama. Last year, he made national headlines when his comments on a FOX News broadcast cost him his job with "Monday Night Football."
Bocephus has also badmouthed President Obama on record, and on "Take Back Out Country," a tune from his recent Old School, New Rules album, he addresses the prez directly, telling him, "pack your bags, head to Chicago, take your teleprompter with you so you'll know where to go."
Asked to weigh in on Hank's tirade, Brad Anderson, an Obama campaign rep in Iowa, seemingly didn't know where to begin.
"That type of absurd nonsense doesn't really deserve a response," he said.
